Re:Build raised $2.1B, led by General Catalyst and JPMorganChase’s Strategic Investment Group. Re:Build designs and builds products for other companies, from drones and counter-drone systems to medical devices. A&D customers are about 40% of its business. It has about 2,000 employees today and plans to add more than 1,000 in the next five years. Its careers page lists 133 open roles.
Firehawk Aerospace announced a $150M Series D at a $1.4B valuation, co-led by Advent and Rochefort Asset Management. Firehawk 3D-prints solid rocket propellant, cutting production time from 60 days to six hours. By the end of next year, Firehawk wants its Oklahoma site to be the third-largest propellant plant in the U.S. by output. 41 open roles on the careers page.
Foundry Robotics raised a $100M Series A led by Marlinspike, with Khosla Ventures and others. Foundry uses robots and AI to assemble hardware for other companies: drones, underwater vehicles, wire harnesses, and satellite parts. 28 open roles on the careers page.
