On Wednesday, Covenant came out of stealth having raised $250M across three rounds at a valuation above $1B, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, Lux Capital, 8VC, Aleph, and Lightspeed. The product is Anthem, a long-range strike missile built mostly from commercial off-the-shelf parts. 105,000 square feet in Grand Prairie, Texas, 1,000 missiles out of it in the first year, another 1,000 from a German line starting in Q1 2027, and roughly $150M already booked — including a ~$70M agreement with the Navy’s Rapid Capabilities Office for a maritime variant. The same day, Poseidon Aerospace raised a $60M Series A led by TQ Ventures, with JAWS, G Squared, Hanwha Asset Management USA, Starship Ventures, Drover Ventures, and Draper Associates. The Bay Area company designs cargo aircraft from scratch instead of retrofitting existing planes. Money goes to flight testing and production of the Egret cargo drone and to the Heron seaplane variant. Total raised is now above $70M. (20+ roles)
A day later, Mach Industries added $600M to its Series C at a $3.7B valuation — double what it was worth in June — from Ribbit Capital, Infinite Capital, Bedrock Capital, and Sequoia. Mach runs a 115,000-square-foot plant at its Huntington Beach headquarters, with more sites in Victorville and San Luis Obispo.(100+ open roles)
