Boeing handed Archer three of its autonomy subsidiaries — Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid — and took a nearly 20% stake in Archer in return. Boeing sheds the assets, Archer inherits the ScanEagle line and its old eVTOL rival, and a public company suddenly owns one of the deeper autonomy benches in the sector. (~167 roles)
AEVEX agreed to buy BlackSea Technologies for up to $650M, moving from air ISR into maritime autonomy in one step. Between the two deals, more than $1B of defense autonomy changed hands in 72 hours. (70+ roles)
Neros closed a $250M Series C at a $2.5B valuation, co-led by Sequoia and American Strategic, to scale FPV and interceptor drone production. (65 roles) And Heaviside raised $60M at $600M — three months after leaving stealth on a $28M Series A — alongside a warhead supply deal with Norwegian munitions maker Nammo. (10 roles)
