Three security companies raised big money last week and we dove into the hiring implications:
Cathedral, founded by former DOGE staffers, closed $160M at a $1.4B valuation from a16z and Sequoia to build AI for military cyber operations. And, with no public presence, we’ve got nothing for you… yet.
Twenty added a $30M Series B extension from Khosla at $1.2B, barely a month after its $100M Series B. Twenty is hiring 34 people right now — more openings than the 43 cyber roles we track across a dozen companies combined!
21 of the 34 are engineering roles, and 24 sit in the DC area.
Five roles carry “offensive” in the title.
Two require TS/SCI on day one.
Glow emerged from stealth with $180M at $1.2B, led by Sequoia and Cyberstarts. They have 14 openings, out of Tel Aviv and Palo Alto.
